When I first arrived to this place, I was really surprised by the warmth of its people, extremely kind, guiding me and my friends all over the place...

雙溪

當我第一次來到這個地方，我相當驚訝，因為這裡的人們很熱情又很親切的接待我們，帶我和友人到處參觀。

We first went right next to the train station to rent some bikes, there were all kinds, from electric ones to mountain bikes, the one I chosed of course, mountain bike.
we started passing by an old house where you could buy any kind of knives and axes hand made right in front of you...yes sir! there is an old man there and he will make any knife you wish to have just from a piece of metal...he will first melt it on fire then use some really old machine, that works as new, and flat the hot metal into a knife,,,awesome~!

我們到火車站右側租腳踏車，那裏有很多不同種類的車型可供選擇，從電動車到登山車都有，而我當然是選擇登山車拉!之後就開始了我們的旅程，第一站是一間老房子，在那裏你可以買到各種類的鐵器，沒錯!有一位老先生會為你打造一把你想要的菜刀，他用老舊的機器把鐵放在火上加熱，藉高溫將菜刀打造成型，非常令人敬佩。

We kept pedaling during the day and say local flowers that smell like jasmine and you could actually drink its nectar so sweet...

我們繼續騎著腳踏車，當地的花聞起來有茉莉花香，你還可以品嘗它的花蜜，好甜阿!

We end by the incredibly huge land of the guide,,,he gave us a ride all over the place and we play in his river throwing out stones and making them bounce over the water,,,competing on who makes the stone bounce more times,,,I think I won...hahahaha.

我們在導遊的帶領下結束旅程，去了很多地方還到河邊玩打水漂，比賽誰能讓石頭在水面上彈最多下，我認為這場比賽是我贏了!哈哈!

Then we went to have a traditional green tea and had a very nice conversation, about the place, family and culture,,,,we broke all the language barriers by using English, Taiwanese and Chinese,,,and of course body language….was really fun…
After that we went to a really old house more than 250 years old,,,wait~! the house was actually built by his ancestors coming from China,,,,it is unbelievable that the same family it is living there still and take care of the place and keep it as it was built...I wish I could have such a thing in my own family but not.

之後我們到一間傳統茶坊喝茶聊天，談論著這裡的家庭、文化等等……，我們打破了語言的隔閡，用英文、台語、中文交談，當然還有一些肢體語言，真的非常有趣。後來我們參觀了一間有250年歷史的老房子，等等!!這間房子是當初來自中國的先民蓋的，而他們的後代正住在裏頭並積極維護它，使它還是保有原來的樣貌，我希望在我的家族裡也能夠有像這樣的傳家寶，可惜我沒有。

The house keep in its main room some amazing pictures that are not actually pictures but porcelains brought from China by his great grand parents...and its chairs and so many things that anyone can see are really antiques...

在這間老房子的房間裡擺了一些珍藏的圖畫，事實上並不是圖畫而是一些房子主人的曾祖父從中國帶回來的瓷器，還有其他像椅子等等很多的古董。

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND ANYONE TO VISIT THIS PLACE, ITS AWESOME.
我非常推薦來這個地方遊玩，簡直太棒了。

山明水舍民宿

We slept in such a nice place, it was the best guest house ever...so comfy. it has a huge living room with a big TV with Karaoke,,,and 3 huge sofas around it for you to sit with your friends and have a great time talking and relaxing,,,the beds are really big and extremely clean,,,you will not find a hair on the floor. the owners are super kind and always ready to assist you,,,they will be there preparing your breakfast too,,,,as you can also serve yourself...

我們住在一個很棒的地方，是我住過最棒的民宿，很舒服!它有一個很寬敞的客廳，擺放著可以唱卡拉OK的大電視，還有三張大沙發讓你和朋友們可以坐在那裏聊天休息。床又大又乾淨，你絕不可能在地上發現任何一根頭髮，民宿主人相當親切，隨時在那裏提供你所需的幫助，他們為你準備早餐，當然，你也可以自己動手。

Since I arrived to the house in the night I could not see the amazing view that was waiting for me in the morning,,,green mountains and a hen being followed by a female white peacock and the male peacock behind,,,yes right as you can see on the namecard the same thing but exactly the same picture….keeping on walking by the back yard I found 3 cute rabbits hopping and asking me for my attention on them...then found gise WOW what a nice place...

晚上回到民宿是見不到清晨才可以看到的美景的，綠意盎然的山，一隻母雞跟著一隻母孔雀，後面又跟著一隻公孔雀，就跟你在名片看到的一樣!漫步在後花園，我發現三隻可愛的兔子，他們正活蹦亂跳地吸引我注意。這裡真是一個很棒的地方。

this place will be great for going with a girlfriend or boyfriend, and or 2 or 3 couple together to relax and have a great time,,,

我覺得這裡很適合情侶一起來玩，兩三對情侶一起來玩的話也會很棒，可以得到真正的放鬆並擁有一段美好的時光。
So if you are stressed out in the city, tired of work,,,go for the weekend there and get all relaxed...brand new refreshed.
如果你在城市裡生活備感壓力、對工作感到疲勞，花一個週末來這裡放鬆自己，給自己一個煥然一新的機會。

Fulong

福隆

This beach is really easy to access from the center of Taipei,,,just about 40 minutes by train and really cheap to go...about 2u$d. Once you are at Fulong Station, you need to walk for about 10 minutes and you are there…

從市中心來這個海灘的交通相當便利，只要坐四十分鐘的火車而且票價也很便宜，只要台幣兩百塊不到，到福隆火車站之後走個十分鐘就可抵達海邊。
there is a huge bridge (overpass) that connects ground into a little kinda bahia and that is the beach,,,has really nice waves and the water is warm,,,the view is amazing you can see a beautiful temple on your right, and mountains all over and of course the Ocean in front...what a nice view.

那裏有一座很大的橋連接外沙灣跟福隆海邊，微風輕輕吹來，海水也很溫暖，景色真的很美，可以看到有一座美麗的廟在你的右手邊，周圍圍繞著山跟眼前的海景連在一起，好棒的景色。
relaxing here with family and or friends its best…
跟家人或朋友來這裡是最棒的...
Fuong should be a must destination on your trip to Taiwan.
福隆一定要是你來台北不可錯過的景點。

Cat Village. (Hou Toung Train Station)

貓村(猴硐火車站)

I fist thought the cat village would be a building or a Cat coffee like in Korea,,,but not, it is actually a real village,,,an entire town of cats, they are all over the place,,,blocks and alleys full of cat ready to be pet by you....45

我第一直覺認為貓村是一棟建築物或是一間有貓的咖啡廳，就像韓國的一樣，但事實上並不是，它真的是一個到處都是貓咪的村子，大街小巷都是等待被你認養的貓咪。
most of them seemed to be really friendly and use to tourist to come up and pet them and take photos....

大部分的貓都很友善，非常樂意讓遊客認養或拍照。
the Cat village it is definitely a place you want to visit with your boyfriend or girlfriend...

貓村無疑是個可以與男女朋友一起來的地方。
